Located in Arlington, VA, the Order Administrator I will support the order process for multiple government levels.  This is an exciting opportunity to learn the government procurement process.  If you have prior customer service experience and especially if you have knowledge of the buying process, procurement, or government contracts we would like to hear from you! 
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday (8:30 am - 4:30 pm) and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days).  Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.


- Responsible for order management processes which includes order validation, order entry, customer requests, prepare documentation
- Validate orders against contract terms
- Communicate with customer to comply with contract provisions
- Prepare reports
- Receive, research and respond to customer inquiries (order status, sales person, date of delivery)
- Coordinate with service providers on order processing
- Coordinate with Canon Financial Services group for equipment leases

- Typically requires general and/or vocational training but little to no experience..
- Strong customer service experience, experience in the Government sector is helpful
- Attention to detail required, ability to multi task
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in contract administration helpful
- Basic Excel experience required
- Data entry experience required.
- Familiar with procurement or prior buying experience preferred
