Overview

Canon USA's Corporate Information Technology Division seeks a Senior IT E-Commerce Operations Analyst (Sr Analyst, App Ops & Deploy) to identify and implement technical solutions to support business needs. Using your IT experience, this position will provide strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding and documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges.
 
The Senior IT E-Commerce Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting assigned business processes from end-to-end, to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small to mid-size projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and providers at the market level.
 
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Mondays and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days).  Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.

Responsibilities

- Liaison between the business user communities, the Corporate IT organization, and Managed Services vendors, in support of Business Process Enhancements, System Development and Implementation, and Production Support
- Ensure compliance with Project Management methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables (Requirements Analysis, Functional Specifications, Coding & Testing, Documentation, and Maintenance)
- Work with Business users to derive requirements and assess risks
- Work on the development and/or implementation of software solutions which fully meet the business requirements
- Define and implement tools and technologies to enhance the productivity of the applications development team
- Ensure compliance with all Change Management and Validation requirements
- Reduce support requirements by ensuring high quality throughout the entire SDLC
- Manage reporting and web based technologies application strategy. Work with architects to define the application architecture and strategy consistent with the global and local IT strategy and business needs
- Evaluate and recommend new and innovative application systems, tools, and technologies which are consistent with the architecture, strategy and business need
- Ensure compliance with all security, regulatory and quality policies and procedures
- Manage the application and communication of all Canon policies, procedures and way of management

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience
- Waterfall Methodology experience
- Multiple Life Cycle of Project Development experience
- E-Commerce Financial Applications experience
- Payment Gateways experience
