Responsible for supporting the director and the department’s core business through reporting, analysis and recommendation of new business initiatives. Researches and recommends process improvements to support the growth of the organization’s current sales and service offerings. AREAS OF FOCUS: Execution of Vertical Market Strategy; Market Research & Analysis; Marketing Plan and Material Development

- Defines the short- and long-term goals, channel development, sales strategy, and execution of Canon Solutions America division Vertical Market offerings and the execution of those goals over time in order to improve Canon Solutions America division market position and revenues.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of activities and trends in Vertical Markets including the creation of original research regarding top organizations and institutions in their respective industries their print programs and best practices in order to assess the competitiveness of the division offering and determine how to improve it.
- Manages projects in support of Business Development.
- Identifies and implements process efficiencies.
- Assists as needed with training a specialized team of division Sales Executives and Business Analysts who will focus on the new Vertical Market sales strategy, so they are prepared to support developed opportunities.
- Supports agent Software and Technology within the department to streamline process.
- Collaborates with the Director to streamline best practices and manages Business Development Guide handbook.
- Assists with the develop marketing strategy and branding for unique Vertical Market offerings including the creation of new marketing and sales collateral.
- Creates and manages specific reporting for dashboards, KPI, and agent performance.
- Speak at industry events and conferences targeting Vertical Market executives, visionaries and administrators in order to enhance visibility of the Canon Solutions America division brand.
- Engage with Industry Analysts to conduct research.


Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experience.
