Overview

This position will assist in efforts to develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels both internally (B2E) and externally (B2B). Responsibilities include researching markets, analyzing trends to help define marketing strategy, and providing recommendations as to how to best reach the target market internally and externally. Assist with the coordination of events such as trade shows or conferences.  Emphasis is placed on digital marketing to drive awareness and generate leads leveraging email campaigns, website content, social media, and targeted blogging.  Ensure web site and social media content is fresh and relevant communication to target audiences. 

Responsibilities

- Aid in the development of marketing campaigns including strategy, creative assets, execution, and tracking
- Analyze marketing results and recommend changes to marketing strategies
- Oversee freelance content generation partners to ensure content is on brand and reflects current marketing trends
- Content planning and creation for External Market (Social Media) and Internal Market (Comms)
- Monitor social media performance, analyze results, and make recommendations
- Coordinate continuous improvement of the Canon ITS corporate web site
- Leverage performance management tools such as Google Analytics to drive performance of site traffic, content engagement, and lead generation
- Plan, support, and coordinate activation of live and virtual events
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in marketing preferred or 2-3 years of experience in a closely related field.
- Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce), and content management systems
- Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
- Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
- Must have experience coordinating a wide range of ongoing, complex assignments
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Attendance is an essential function of the job
