About the Role

Canon Financial Services in Mt. Laurel NJ is seeking an Account Representative II (Representative, Account II). The Account Representative II will be supporting the Canon Financial Services Broker Funding Department and has the primary responsibility to grow the Broker base while also managing existing Relationships. As an Account Representative II you are the primary liaison to Brokers and Customers from an overall relationship perspective. The successful applicant is responsible for developing and handling all aspects of client interaction including execution of transactions. You will also be involved in negotiating and preparing documentation, reviewing documentation while ensuring adherence to CFS programs. Objectives are achieved and exceeded by working closely with CFS’s management and support teams to deliver excellent, best-in-class services to our customers and brokers. Achievement of sales volume results, application activity and sales activity goals is required. 
 
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Tuesday and Wednesday with an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days).  Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs

Your Impact

- Expand the Broker network
- Soliciting new business in existing and also target new markets
- Solicit new business from Brokers - work with owners, sales and sales management within the accounts to understand their decision making process and uncover company needs
- Use professional, creative persuasion and repetitive sales efforts to on board new brokers to use CFS’s leasing services
- Provide communication to CFS management to ensure understanding of financing needs in the marketplace
- Understand competitive products and prices offered by other leasing companies and update management on any market conditions that could impact CFS’s competitiveness
- Provide solutions to brokers and customers by offering CFS financing services
- Understand the process to help the brokers efficiently use the CFS funding platform for their business
- Understand other key attributes to the funding process which CFS offers
- Demonstrate capability by performing selling and service related activities quickly, accurately and efficiently
- Increase New Business Volume and Application activity from existing accounts in order to grow the assigned territory
- Collaborate closely with other team members by sharing work, using best practices and educating to deliver excellent service
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with your counterparts within each Broker to drive new leasing business to Canon Financial Services
- Organize and maintain training materials provided, individual records, spreadsheets, talk tracks and other work related materials to perform job functions and responsibilities
- Use Salesforce to track sales calls, activities, follow-up tasks and new opportunities for appropriate next steps in the sales and relationship management cycle
- Use and maintain the Salesforce database through activity history and sales coding to ensure detailed knowledge of brokers
- Support broker sales efforts with marketing materials by interfacing with support team to accomplish necessary tasks needed to provide information
- Take an active role in your individual learning of CFS systems, methods and processes to become more knowledgeable
- Use best practices to perform day-to-day activities
- Understand and possess a working knowledge of the Broker channel’s customer types and vertical markets
- Support department projects and objectives such as Productivity tools, new versions of the CFS Dealer Portal and beta testing plans by active participation in assigned projects
- Use sales campaigns, quarterly promotions and other means to enhance relationships and better understand brokers leasing behaviors in order to persuade them to use Canon’s leasing and financing services
- Provide best in class service throughout the entire origination process with brokers and customers as well as internal Canon departments
- Communicate the CFS leasing process and services to brokers and end user customers by delivering webinars, virtual presentations and prepared in person sales talks
- Provide accurate weekly sales forecast updates and support department projects and assignments
- Provide lease product, lease promotion, and general lease process sales training to the Broker base on an ongoing basis to strengthen the channel performance
- Document all transactions using Nexus and other CFS systems to ensure accurate application entry and by providing detailed follow up on all lease opportunities and transactions
- Support the sales cycle by documenting lease transactions for customer signature
- Develop relationships directly with customers to encourage repeat business
- Maintain a high level of service by following policies and procedures; reporting necessary changes required to maintain CFS providing this best in class service
- Escalate topics or transactions swiftly and efficiently by communicating the current situation and potential solutions to management
- Work efficiently across the organization to satisfy broker and customer requirements. For Example: Work with Credit, Customer Service, Pricing, Tax, etc. to provide necessary documentation and information to successfully facilitate lease transactions, collections support and resolution to other issues
- Possess and demonstrate a thorough understanding of T-Value software and HP financial calculator use to price lease transactions
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to developing new relationships in the broker community and any related sales organization(s)
- Grow and develop the territory
- Participate in department and company projects as needed
- Support change management initiatives. For example: Testing and development of new efficiency tools, website, ecommerce, beta testing with broker community, etc.

- Proven relationship management skills in the leasing industry
- Team player with high energy, positive outlook and professional demeanor who takes initiative
- Proficient in finance structures and programs utilized in leasing industry
- Proficiency of Credit concepts
- Strong math aptitude, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills – both written, verbal and group
- Basic proficiency with TValue, Excel, Powerpoint, Salesforce, Nexus and Leasewave
- Travel up to 10% to Trade Shows, Broker Visits and Customer Visits
- 2+ years of Finance Sales experience is required
- 3+ years of transactional finance required
 
We are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $26.02 - $38.97 hourly.
