About the Role

Canon U.S.A. Inc., headquartered in Melville, NY seeks a B2C Digital Growth & Loyalty Specialist (Specialist, Marketing). The B2C Digital Growth & Loyalty Specialist is responsible for driving digital growth initiatives that strengthen the Canon Online Store customer engagement, loyalty, and revenue. The primary focus of this role is the acceleration and optimization of the Canon Online Store Loyalty Program and identifying new opportunities to acquire customers, improve customer retention and increase lifetime value.
 
Working closely with Marketing, IT, Sales, Analytics, and external agency and technology partners, this individual will coordinate initiatives from strategy and planning through execution and measurement, while exploring emerging channels, technologies, and opportunities to expand the Canon Online Store digital business.

This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days).  Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.

Your Impact

CUSTOMER RETENTION & GROWTH
- Lead the acceleration and optimization of the Canon Online Store Loyalty Program, partnering with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, coordinate implementation, and identify opportunities to increase customer engagement, retention, and value
- Support the ongoing management and evolution of the Loyalty Program, including day-to-day marketing, operations, planning, performance monitoring, and coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Lead and scale Canon’s robust Affiliate Marketing program. Oversee day-to-day operations, plan and execute strategic marketing placements, and continuously expand, optimize, and balance our publisher portfolio to drive sustainable growth
- Support the growth of the Canon Employee Store through targeted email, merchandising, and other digital initiatives, partnering with Sales to align campaigns with product launches, seasonal priorities, on-site promotions and tent-pole events
- Work with the Market Research team to gain customer and business insights to identify opportunities for growth, including new campaigns, programs, and digital initiatives that increase acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention
- Partner with Marketing, Analytics, Sales, and other stakeholders to evaluate performance, develop recommendations, and execute initiatives that drive measurable business results
EMERGING CHANNELS & INNOVATION
- Identify, evaluate, and test emerging digital channels, platforms, partnerships, and customer acquisition opportunities that can drive incremental traffic, new customers, and revenue to the Canon Online Store
- Monitor evolving consumer behaviors, digital commerce trends, marketplaces, social commerce, AI-powered discovery, and other emerging channels to identify opportunities for the Canon Online Store
- Develop recommendations and business cases for new channel strategies, partnerships, technologies, and pilot programs based on customer potential, business value, and scalability
- Support Canon’s Agentic Commerce readiness by coordinating with IT, agencies, and technology partners to explore and integrate commerce capabilities across Large Language Models (LLMs) and emerging AI-powered shopping experiences
- Lead or coordinate cross-functional innovation initiatives from opportunity identification through testing and implementation, partnering with internal teams and external vendors to bring new digital capabilities to market

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, customer loyalty, growth marketing, or a related field
- Experience managing or coordinating cross-functional initiatives across Marketing, IT, Analytics and Sales
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Customer-focused mindset with an understanding of digital customer engagement and retention
PREFERRED
- Experience managing or supporting a loyalty or customer rewards program
- Experience with customer acquisition, retention or lifecycle marketing
- Experience with eCommerce and direct-to-consumer businesses
- Experience developing digital marketing campaigns, including email and on-site promotional experiences
- Experience managing agency, technology, or vendor relationships
- Familiarity with digital analytics and eCommerce platforms
- Experience identifying or testing emerging digital channels and customer acquisition opportunities
- Exposure to AI-powered commerce, conversational AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or other emerging digital

- Develop and Launch the Canon Online Store Loyalty Program
- Loyalty Program Growth & Engagement: Increased membership, participation, engagement, retention, and customer value
- Loyalty Program Optimization: Successful delivery of program enhancements, initiatives, and capabilities that improve the customer experience and business results
- Customer & Revenue Growth: Increased customer acquisition, engagement, repeat purchase and conversion
- Employee Store Performance: Increased Employee Store traffic and engagement through effective digital marketing and promotional initiatives
- New Growth Opportunities: Identification, evaluation, and testing of new channels, partnerships, and capabilities that generate incremental customers and traffic
- Execution: Effective delivery of cross-functional initiatives, with clear objectives, timelines, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes

We are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $66,300 - $81,550 annually
